75th Anniversary
BECAUSE ......It's worth doing!
The Lancashire Association of Boys' Clubs was formed in 1934 to meet the needs of the many boys' club which had formed in the 'old' county of Lancashire. The aim was simple. To engage members in constructive leisure time activities so they could learn and develop under the guidance of caring adult leaders.
In 1995 the association changed its name to the Lancashire Association of Clubs for Young People (LACYP) to reflect its mixed membership.
